Across more than 15 years in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical technology, and corporate venture capital, I have developed a rare ability to assess scientific potential and translate it into commercially relevant action.
At Lonza, I lead external innovation for Integrated Biologics, directing opportunity discovery, technology evaluation, co-investment, licensing, and partnership execution. I established the governance and decision processes that support the portfolio while building relationships across leading innovation hubs in Europe and the United States.
Previously, at Carl Zeiss, I shaped investment strategy in digital health and diagnostics and led transactions from sourcing to execution. At Materialise, I combined product leadership, global commercialization, and academic collaboration to grow a medical software business with $20 million in annual revenue.
My perspective is grounded in a PhD in Human Biology, two engineering master’s degrees, and an Executive MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School—an interdisciplinary foundation for leading at the convergence of science, technology, finance, and enterprise strategy.
